My television, with all of it's 1080p HD glory, seems to be permanently tuned to Turner Classic Movies. Occasionally one of the various Discovery/Science/History channels will pop up. As for as shows: Star Trek (the original), Three's Company, The Jeffersons, The Andy Griffith Show, Monty Python's Flying Circus, MST3000, Dr Who, The Prisoner and Lost.
anything by Phillip K Dick or Stanislaw Lem, Harry Potter, the Discworld books, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Most of my book collection is nonfiction...lots of art books, science books, and other nerdy items.
