Born in Tampa, Florida, a city that never sleeps, full of wild people, but where musicians and conventions are always poppin, is where the wonder known as "RodB" is from!
"RodB", a cool type dude that gets along with pretty much anyone. I like to have fun, but, if business comes up, I gotta do what I gotta do to handle it ya kno! To all those that wanna know who is “RodBâ€, I sing R&B, I’ve been singing for pretty much all my life, some people never knew cuz im pretty shy, but those that knew me in HS or any school, knew that i sang because i was in chorus, choir, gospel choir, musical plays, ANYTHING dealing music i was there. Im styll shy but not as shy as I use to be, and anyone I work with or live with will tell you that. I've won several awards for my music skills and have song with both local and national recording artist. (see bio for list of awards and shows i've been a part of) My favorite color is blue. I have three brothers (1 older 2 younger). My oldest brother raps/sings, check him out on myspace somewhere, lol, when I find out ill let ya kno, and one of my younger brothers is in a group called Unleash’d, check them out on myspace too, you’ll find them in my friends list. I likes to eat, lol, and I cook too, (raised by ma gramz so I had no choice but to learn). Yup! ya boi BAK in school get that education! gotta make money some how ya kno?!?!
There is no doubt the music industry is heading in a new direction, better yet, recycling itself back to the way true music should be. With lyrics that will make you want to be in the song, to vocals that make you drop what you are doing and listen, there is no doubt that Rod has what it takes to succeed in this wild and crazy industry. I plan on getting into this music industry and I plan on STAYING around. Music is in me, in my family, and in my veins, so I can’t ignore the call.
As a very active person in the music community, Rod is known both locally, statewide, nation wide, and even internationally, no longer a secret that he can sing, now its time for the world to see and hear this true and raw talent. New York, Tenneessee, Georgia, The Florida Keys, Alabama, and a host of several other states, have played witness to "RodB", so be on the look out for him in a state or city near you :)
