Band Members: Raed Khashoukgi plays: Guitars (Electric, 12-String electric, baritone, acoustic), 6-string bass, turntables (incl. QFO), MEGATAR, AKAI windcontroller EWI4000s, MOOG Theremin, ethnic instruments, keyboard and drum programming, sometimes a tin flute and other nonsense that just gets used because it sounds awkward. At the moment I write, perform and mix the music.
Influences: Jimi Hendrix is my mentor. I started music because of Jam Master Jay. Bruce Springsteen I admire for his lyrics. Herbert Grönemeyer is an exceptional artist. Keziah Jones is a singular artist. W.A. Mozart changed my whole life with just one note. Charlie Parker proved that the barrier between human and instrument can be overcome. And many others that i admire. Musicians from all genres whose souls reach up to the worlds where the real life is.
Sounds Like: The apocalypse of John. My favorite book. When you read it, it is as if you can hear the most overwhelming music ever. It carries you through all the possible terrains of emotion and ends in the most beautiful chord imaginable. (I'm not saying my music is that good. I'm just saying the book has a great influence on me).
