Neoentity is the culmination of 4 members of outstanding musical talent and experience. Beginning under the guise of a different name back in 2004, the 3 core writing members realised they had to depart from the rest of the band. This allowed them the flexibility of introducing a vast amount of Adam Hooton's material, whilst re-writing older material to suit a new, more progressive and technical direction. Neoentity was then fortunate enough to find bassist Hans Stiles via formingbands.co.uk
Unforunately since then, progress has been a rollercoaster mixture of excellent writing progress, and insufficient members. Despite all our collective efforts, Neoentity has been unable to secure any completely suitable drummer or singer, who have all for various reasons not stayed with the band. We've auditioned countless naff singers and drummers.
After the recent parting of our last drummer, we have come to the conclusion that the necessary missing musicians are elusive. So we're on hiatus for the foreseeable future, whilst we all concentrate on other things. What you can expect, is an eventual anthology of finished recordings. A more detailed rant of this decision is in our blog.
So perhaps the saving grace for Neoentity is the connection with Mike Walter , fantastic power metal singer based in California, who is happy to record tracks sent over the internet purely as a good will gesture. Additionally, Adam and Alex are competent drum programmers, collectively providing the means to produce full band recordings.
Neoentity hopes to be recognised for their musical efforts, and by some magical fortune, may even evolve to the live act they always intended to be.
