D.Marin Bio Derek Marin was born & raised in New York City. He developed a passion for music early on & started playing the drums at age 9. Being influenced by groups like Depeche Mode, New Order, The Smiths & B.AD., he started playing in bands at age 14. During this time he also started to build his production skills, taking charge of the recording, mixing, & editing aspects at home and in the studio. He also began to experiment with keyboards & other instruments. By 1994, Derek started to become a respected dj in the electronic community in New York. It wasn't long before he started being part of important events, holding down residencies, working at the vinyl shop Throb Records & commercially releasing tracks. Currently Mr. Marin is as busy as ever. He continues to produce tracks & remixes for various record labels, djs & produces mix cds and keeps things together at his Faucet Music imprint. Here are just some of the artists that Derek has performed with: Terry Francis, Hong Kong Counterfiet, Mr.C, Terry Lee Brown, Tommie Sunshine, Frankie Bones, Adam X, Carl Craig, John Selway & Andrew Fletcher of Depeche Mode.D.Andre Bio With well over a decade of djing under his belt, by 1999 Daniel Andre was already a staple the NYC house scene, holding down residency´s and playing in some of the most exclusive clubs thru-out the U.S. By this time Daniel had also held down the position of House Music Buyer for both Boston Beat (MA) & Throb Records (NYC).In 2001 Daniel´s debut track Daniel Andre -¨Imagination¨ EP on Red Menace Records (US) with remix by Modest D quickly gained him worldwide recognition as not only one of New York City´s leading underground house dj´s but also a force to be reckoned with in the studio as well. ¨Imagination¨ received global praise from the likes of Mr. C, Evil Eddie Richards, & Andy Ling to name a few. ¨Imagination¨ went on to be licensed to the Atmosphrex CD: Recreate mixed by Andy Ling (Hooj Choons UK) Along with being released in 2002 as an Atmosphrex mixed DVD via Moonshine with CGI visuals by the famed Exotic Robotics. Sub label ¨Make Me Cry¨ was featured on the F/X Chanel's hit TV show ¨Nip/Tuck¨ As well as making its way on mixed cds by Mistress Barbara, Angel Moraes and many others.While working at NYC Legend Francois K´s Wave Music label as Promotions Coordinator Daniel helped to broaden the already globally respected Wave Music Catalog by helping to A&R tracks by Alexi Delano, The Timewriter & Felix da House Cat.Most Recently the Release of ¨Come in London¨ produced by Daniel Andre & Derek Marin on Faucet Music received international play. Much of which from where else? The dance floors of the U.K.For the past two years Daniel has been focusing on his true love or djing to the masses, going where the music takes him. From New York to Los Angeles & currently Cozumel, Mx. Where he has been consistently rockin crowds from Cancun to Playa del Carmen and thru-out the Caribbean along with holding down a residency at ¨1.5¨ in Cozumel. Daniel is also currently part of the Belgium based ¨Kaixta Juicy Radio World DJ Team¨ in company with Meilys Pena & Eric Hershell (Kaixta), Peter Presta, Lee Cabrera, Dj Skittlez, & more.In 2008 Daniel will be returning to the U.S. full-time to continue to rock crowds with his unique blend of bangin house, techfunk & electro, as well as heading back into to the studio for some eagerly anticipated new releases attempting to top what he has already accomplished in his 10+ years working with-in the EDM community.
