Ok, so right now, today, it is FREEZING outside and I love it! I mean, bone-chilling, fingers can't warm up for hours, cold. I don't love that so much but I do love winter. I know...I'm crazy. I just love the thought that at any moment, I could hop on a plane or hop in my car and head to a mountain and ski the crap out of it. Even though...I probably won't. I don't get to ski as often as I would like but just knowing that I could, if I had money and was able to get away from work, makes me happy. I love to play games. I love pretty much all games but some of my new favorites are Phase 10 and Scene It. Some of the good ole classic games that I love are Scrabble and cards (of any kind). One of my favorite things to do is have friends over for game nights or sit around the table with my family playing games (although the family gatherings tend to break out in a tussle but that's what makes them fun). Speaking of my family, I love them to death. I've come a long way in my relationship with every member of my family and today have the most increadible relationships with them. I'm a youth leader at my church, the church that I grew up in. I'm also a Young Life leader for Shiloh High School. I absolutly love serving the Lord by working with teenagers. They are so much fun! My relationship with Christ is the most important thing in my life and I want to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I am very sensitive to the problems that are going on in Africa and would love to serve on a mission team someday over there. The genocide over in Darfur just tears me apart. I am trying to educate myself about what is going on in Africa: genocide, starvation, poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic so that I can speak intellegently on the subject. I want to help spread the message that they need help and educate others on the situation over there. I'm usually very outgoing and have a tendancy to get caught saying stupid things causing others to whip out their "awkward turtles". I love to laugh, especially at myself.
