2000-2005

About Me

The instrumental music of The Object at the End of History is influenced by a broad variety of styles that range from various strains of indie-rock and jazz, to electronica and death metal. The result is an eclectic mixture that is difficult to pin down with standard labels. Each of its members brings a unique perspective to the group with the whole being very different than the sum of its parts. The songs tend to be dynamic and polyrhythmic, usually going on extended journeys, often with reoccurring themes that present themselves in various forms. Depending on the listeners personal orientation, the music is often perceived as heavy, mathematical, quiet, surreal, uplifting, pensive or tense. It is the hope of the band to make an interesting musical statement that includes all of the above experiences and many more.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.1
