I'm a very busy Mom with two boys. I love life- I spend tons of time volunteering. I am very involved in the PTA. Right now I am the Council PTA President. This is the next level up after being president at a school, which I have done 4 times. I love how much fun it is to make a difference in a kids life by interacting with them when they think all adults are ignoring them. Teenagers are the most misunderstood of all. I still remember what it was like to be 13 and hate my parents and think that life was going to end when the cute guy dumped me for another girl. So I try to be a compassionate person and always remember what it felt like to be my kid's age. Sometimes this does not work to their advantage. They hate that!!I love having and making friends but most of all- I love my kids and hubby!! I have been married for 21 years to my high school sweetheart. We grew up in Texas, where I lived in Lufkin, the Dallas area and San Antonio. I miss Texas so much! It's the greatest place in the WORLD. I love California and I figure while I live here I am going to make the most of it. I have started volunteering at Film Festivals and have been having a total blast and of course, made lots of new friends.
