Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must; just never give up. - Dean Karnazes

About Me

I'm 21 years old, 6'1" and 165lbs; I have light brown hair and blue eyes. I'm a Christian and my relationship with my God is the most important to me, followed by my family and friends. I love to play paintball and football, hang out with my friends, have conversations with close friends, take long walks on the beach... I currently attend classes at Cerro Coso Community College. If you want to know whats up with my display name, keep reading, it's in here somewhere.
An about me wouldn't be complete without a summary of some of my close friends, they are a HUGE part of what defines me.
From left to right
Joe- My best friend, he's has been a huge influence in my life. Without him I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today, nor would I be anyone near who I am today. He's one of the people who I know I can go to with anything because I have gone to him with the worst of what I am, and he didn't judge me for it. This guy kicks my butt when I need it; he helps keep me in line in life and the weight room. Love ya man.
Phillip- The random one, he's seen me go through numerous changes in my life, from a little kid all the way to what I am today. He's currently in his random phase, meaning he likes to be as random as possible. This can be quite alarming at times, but it is funny as all nonsense (sorry Spencer) to watch him go random on someone who doesn't expect it. He helps keep my life interesting.
Justin- The hairy one, Justin makes me feel supported, if that makes sense. When he's around I feel like, no matter what happens, he's got my back, in an argument (assuming I'm not being an idiot), in a fight, in a football game, whatever. I don't use it much, but I know he's always there. He's also a source of inspiration for me (not that my other friends aren't), he's so full of passion it amazes me sometimes.
Nate (aka Schadrac)- What's there to say. This kid rocks, he's one of the "blacker" white kids I know. He kicks me in the face at basketball (though it's not that hard). Those who know him know what I mean when I say hes decent.
The other Nate (aka Garcilla)- Our white Mexican, who isnt really Mexican. This dude keeps on going, hes like the Energizer Bunny (sorry man). No matter what life throws at him, no matter how many times he gets knocked down, he keeps pressing on. Hes also one of my music consultants; he points out good music, then I can go check it out. Hes also tryin to turn me into a ladies man, but thats not working too well, guess Im hopeless.
Chris- If you get this kid together w/ Garcilla, things go crazy. They play off each other so well, its disgusting. Hes also pretty funny in own right. At our youth group talent show he did a standup comedy routine (not an easy task), and he won first place for it. He can be a bit of a distraction at times though (not like that, sicko), hes a lot of fun to be around.
MBoys- These guys keep me going. They inspire me, support me, tell me when Im being an idiot, push me when I need it, pick me up when Im down, entertain me, and point me continually toward God. I love you guys, you all rock.
Once again, from left to right
Amy- My other best friend, she is also responsible for a lot of improvements in the Greg. God has used her in so many ways in my life, used her to show me so many things; I dont know where Id be without her. Wait, yes I do; Id be sitting at the intersection across from Walgreens ;) Amy is responsible for the nickname "Gregie" that I use as my display name. I love this kid, shes the first girl that Ive ever been really close friends with. I count myself blessed to know Amy.
Carissa- Ive know this one since forever. She has such a kind heart, and shes so sweet. Shes another one who helps keep me on course, partially because shes kinda like me in a lot of ways. If Im bein an idiot, doin something stupid, Ill see her react to the situation the way I know I should, and that helps remind me of the path that God has for me.
Mary- Theres something about Mary Shes a great person, and a talented musician (guitar). Shes kinda reserved (unless shes tired), but shes sensitive and caring. Shes got a heart for God, and thats important. If I had to describe Mary in one word, I think Id choose awesome. Ya, I like awesome. Awesome's good. In the interest of giving credit where it's due, Mary took a number of the pictures that are displayed on my profile (mostly the ones that look good).
Shayna- She is so much fun to be around, she makes me laugh all the time. Shes great with the put downs, which I love. Her, pretend like shes gonna hug you, then walk right past, or my favorite, pretend like shes giving you a hug, but as soon as you touch her she pushes you away and says, dont touch me, thats gross. She's one of my best female receivers when we play football at the park; she rants about how "football is a sexist sport, and all the guys think the girls can't play"; then she goes and gets 3 or 4 touchdowns in a game, it's great. You really are the center of the universe, and all of our worlds revolve around you. Love ya.
Kristina- She is one of the few friends I have who has never lived in Ridgecrest, not that it’s all that important, but she is. She’s one of the easiest people I know to talk to; things that might seem awkward with other people just aren’t with her. Of these five, she’s the one I’ve know the shortest time and the one I’ve sent he least, but she’s still very special to me, and I love her to death.
MLadies- These are some top-notch young women. They have been Gods instrument in my life more times than I can count. They remind me that there are young women out there that are worth waiting for, they help me remember not to settle for a girl that isnt all that God has for me, but to wait for the one that God made for me. These girls are amazing, and I love em a lot. Oh, and did I mention that they are pretty much gorgeous? MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

friends, paintball, football, CORVETTES, doing donuts in The Truck, reading, movies, music, weight training, running, shooting, and the color red

I'd like to meet:

Anyone interesting, people who I can learn something from, those who share my values and beliefs, and the love of my life (whoever she may be, who knows maybe I have already met her and just don't know it).

Music:

Heroes:

My biggest hero, aside from Jesus Christ, is definitely my dad because he is such an awesome man of God and an incredible example to me of what a man should be. He taught me much of what I know, and I wouldn't trade him for the world.
Another hero I have is Darren. He is one of the youth leaders at my church, and he is a great role model. He is a wonderful example of what it means to be a man. He has the tough guy side, but he also can be very sensitive. He loves his wife and kids, but more than that he loves his God. And he is always willing to help us out with whatever we need.
