Spit Fire Castaways is a Hardcore/Punk band from N.Y.C. The band's current line-up started in June 2002 and has been kicking the local punk scene's ass ever since. Their influences range from Blood for Blood, Discipline, Cocksparrer and Argy Bargy.
Despite a tragedy in the band where their drummer, cousin and friend, Jon was killed, they've managed to regroup and solidify their hardcore sound. Their debut E.P. dedicated and recorded with Jon, "Reckless Ignition" came out in 2002.
The new line-up's first debut occured at a benefit concert for Jon in June of 2002. They surprised and delighted a packed house with their tight sound and their new drummer, Raquel. Since then, they've been dedicating themselves to their music and it sounds awesome.
Update 2006: New members added to the band have strengthened the group's ferocious sound, welcoming Matt on the bass and Cat on guitar.
