About Me

I love spending time with my family and friends doing the things that give me the most pleasure in life, such as, dancing to great music, shopping with my girlfriends, reading motivational books (my lifetime quest has always been to become a better person - a woman of substance), volunteering in the community or anything that involves helping other people. I also like watching movies on a rainy afternoon, eating in fine restaurants, going to parades and festivals, and being a spectator at any kind of sporting events (especially football because my son in-law use to play football in school and in college, and is now a head football coach himself). I also love championships of any kind (because I love people who can overcome obstacles and accomplish goals). Regarding places I'd like to go to... personally, I like having the best of both worlds... I love being outside in nature, camping, walking in the woods on sunny days, or enjoying the view of water whether it's a river, a lake or the ocean... But then again, I love being in big crowds because I love going anywhere where there's lots of people and alot of action going on. I especially love listening to Classic Rock music the best! I love Classic Rock mostly because I believe that the music that was created during that time is timeless, and I also believe it was sheer fate that brought all of those talented band members together for each of the awesome bands who were performing and creating music at that specific time (I am just so thankful that I was able to see alot of those bands play live back in the day)...I especially enjoy listening to and reminiscing about the fun times I've had seeing some of my favorite bands... Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Styx, Grand Funk, Paul Rodgers, and one of our Seattle area's greatest cover bands of all time... Spike and the Impalers! My Pet Peeve???...I DON'T LIKE MEAN PEOPLE!!! I don't like anyone who intentionally sets out to hurt other people, or tries to destroy other people's personal property!

My Interests

Thanks for stopping by and visiting my page... While you are here be sure to check out my pictures and videos that I've taken of some of my favorite friends!

I'd like to meet:

(Strangers are only friends who I haven't met yet) As far as celebrities are concerned... I'd like to meet anyone who has meant something to me in my life, but most importantly, I'd really like to meet Paul McCartney, Steven Tyler and Oprah!

Music:

Everyone who knows me knows I love music so there's too many to list individually...but I mostly like to listen to 70's and 80's rock music, blues, classical, jazz, etc. (the etc. stands for everything except ethnic music). Lately, I love going to see our local Seattle radio station KZOK's band "Spike and the Impalers" play, and going to listen to all the other bands that each one of the bandmembers play in. Because in my opinion, they are all "the best of the best" musicians in the Seattle area that I've seen play so far. They are absolutely AMAZING musicians!!! I am always interested in going to see other local bands from our area too.

I am a people person, so when it comes to television I like to watch anything that depicts "real life" or musically entertains us.My all-time favorite show is CBS Sunday Morning because of it's variety of interesting things it features regarding art, music, and everyday life.
