N’Sane

About Me

N'Sane is a rock and roll band combining three of Seattles most accomplished musicians, great, danceable songs, high energy, and a whole lotta fun, all performed 100% live...w/no help from technology!
N'Sane was formed by Lloyd Debarr, Fred Holzman and Joe Shikany to host a jam night in Seattle. That was in 2003 and today the band has evolved and tightened their style to become one of the area's favorite 3 piece bands. N'Sane performs many styles of music, from classic rock to country to disco...well, sorta, almost, disco at many of the areas top nightclubs, summer festivals and even private parties.
Lloyd Debarr is the lead guitarist, lead singer and front man of N'Sane. Lloyd became a fixture in the Seattle nightclub circuit as the guitarist for The Newsboys. This very popular band played non-stop for years in the region. Prior to joining The Newsboys, Lloyd was a member of a post-grunge cult favorite called Local 808. Lloyd also is the front man of a band called Crosswalk, who are currently finishing their first album.
Joe Shikany--bass and vocals--Having been lead guitarist for rock legend Paul Rodgers of Bad Company and Free, and currently a member of Seattle's Magic Bus, KZOK's Spike and The Impalers, PowerCell and The Davanos, Joe knows how to rock a big crowd. A Northwest lead guitar icon, Joe has played with many of Seattle's top artists including Bighorn, Kenny G, Shyanne, Shots, Rail, The Machine and The Rodger Fisher band (guitarist of Heart) . Joe puts his playing and singing talents to good use as the bass player of N'Sane.
Fred Holzman--drums and vocals--is in huge demand for his drumming, his singing and outrageous performance. Freddy was recently the cover feature story of the Seattle Weekly because the writer was blown away by his performance. ( http://www.seattleweekly.com/2008-04-16/news/the-lunatic-is- on-the-drums.php ) He also plays with The Davanos and PowerCell. Fred's solid drumming forms the backbone of N'Sane which leaves everyone screaming RIGHT ON! You will never forget Freddy!!
With three lead vocalists, N'Sane plays a mix of 70's, 80's, 90's, modern rock, R&B and even a little country. Variety is what makes this band work...from The Beatles, The Stones, John Cougar, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Los Lonley Boys to Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder and Johnny Cash, N'Sane delivers great music, fun and craziness from start to finish.
