Guitar Slinging since eleven years old , I was originally turned on to music from jamming on two chords with my dad. Improvisation and playing by feel was always the natural way for me to play, even when I was younger. When I got into middle school, I would only listen to heavy metal. I loved fast guitar riffs and ripping solos. I grew up on OLD Metallica, Pantera, Sabbath, and Iron Maiden. Metal was a great way for me to learn how to play fast, but as I went through high school I began to appreciate more melodic music such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, MICHAEL HEDGES, CSNY, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Tool. This new plethora of influences changed my style of playing to a more rhythmic, bluesy, slap happy style of playing. I've been writing in this style of music since Senior Year in high school, when I released a single entitled "Nothing more than you." Throughout the years I've put together a good albums worth of music. I don't like to write in one style. I don't like to write in one tuning. I'd like for people to listen to the feel and energy that is put into the music rather than just a category. Right now I'm working to get as many shows lined up as possible and plan to start recording a full length album in the Fall. Stay tuned for further updates and new music.
