Born October 21, in Opa Locka, FL, Tai was the first of a family of two siblings. As a youth, it was well known that he had musical gifts and talents. He was first discovered by his fellow church members as he effortlessly played musical instruments without having any lessons. He also was a great dancer/singer. He developed a fan base that would pay up to $50 to watch him perform Michael Jackson impersonations. From then on, he has been in countless plays and special musical acts that helped to hone in on his musical abilities. During his young adult years he also found that he had another talent in sports. Setting music aside, he pursued a career in football and track & field. After experiencing success, during his early years in high school, his senior year fell tragic due to a knee injury. Instead of being bitter about the unfortunate mishap, he considered it a sign from GOD. From then on, his love for music became more relevant and turned into an passion.
Musical Career:
Tai began producing his own music in 2000 while in college - Jackson State University. He met up with Trakhouse, a fellow producer and formed a production group formerly known as "Entaitainment." Their popularity grew and their music became local hits around campus. The dynamic group became popular for their extremely melodic and unique sound. They produced tracks for a wide range of local artists around the city of Jackson, and Memphis.
"I create from the soul. That is the only place you can be yourself. No one can beat you at being yourself" says, Tai.
After living in various cities - Miami, Atlanta, Jackson, Shreveport, he came in touch to different cultures and backgrounds, thereby, making his music more profound.
