About Me

Things are changing once again. "Last year" was perhaps the best and worst of my life all at the same time so I'm making sure "this year" hits all
the high notes.
I'm an artist. Primarily I'm a writer, a photographer, and a musician,
but I try to create whenever possible.
I recently resigned from a pretty kick-ass job as a video game journalist to pursue a more fitting future. Game journalism presented me with some incredible opportunities and experiences over the last few years, but sit and talk with me about it sometime and you'll learn it's not all comped flights and free games. In the interest of numerous non-disclosure agreements, talking about the reality of the business on the interwebs is
just not viable.
In the interest of maintaining focus, I'm not talking about the future right now. Suffice to say that big things are in the works and I'm about to flip my life completely on it's head - something I've found that I rather enjoy
once in a while.
I love my car and there are relatively few things I'd rather be doing besides driving.
As you may assume of someone who's been a professional videogame critic, I LOOVE video games. As far as I'm concerned, they're the future of art. If you don't agree with that statement,
I bet I can change your mind.

"Think outside the box" is a phrase that doesn't make sense to me because I didn't even know there was a box.
Strong and passionate, I tend to be misunderstood, sometimes even feared. I don't want to fight, I don't want to cause trouble, all I ask is a little love, and a little peace. If I don't get what I want, I get angry, and throw barrels and flaming oil at whatever's stopping me.
