grown-up asian kid. i'm past that point in life where i care about cars, brand name clothing, and fine wine and dine. whatever's good is good, regardless of price. hey, never underestimate mossimo!
i love good dance music - fav is progressive house, followed by deep house. fav dj is john digweed. one of these days my goal is to experience an 8 hour digweed set at club womb in tokyo.
i can dance hard til 6 in the morning if the music is really good but man, i'll pay for it dearly the next day (getting old sucks!)
hobbies include spinning (dj stuff), biking, eating out, travelling, playing poker, and the other usual stuff. i like doing the ossan/ajuhshi stuff like going to the public baths and drinking really cold beer afterwards with some rice crackers and dried squid.
i'm not picky with food and will eat just about anything within reason (no insects tho). i love bubble teas and pho... sushi, galbi, [insert favorite]-tang, ramen, takoyaki, dim sum... lemme stop here (drool).
oh, i try to recycle when i can. don't just throw that bottle away boys and gals.
i also wonder whether those that proclaim ny is the best city in the world really came to that conclusion on their own or think that "because it's new york".
admittedly, i'm a big nerd at heart - grew up w/ rc cars, video games, cameras, manga, mecha toys, gadgets... and i even went to a school where they manufacture professional nerds. and every fall, i'll geek out to go watch marching band competitions^^; how's that! one time, at band camp...
