UAO standing for "Under Authority Of" was created august 2005.
Aelbrecht came back from the States and he and Nico decided tot start a new band.
Soon Rodney and Arjen joined in.
Months later they finally found the bass player they were looking for.
Anthony joined the band, and UAO was complete... At least for a year...
Starting off playing punkrock, the band was more and more
influenced by the sounds of ska/punk music
(some say Arjen aka "Skarjen" was to blame...:-) )
June 2007 nico decided to do something else and
left the band to become guitarist in the band "One Minute Of".
Meanwhile the band was honored to introduce their first horn!! (allright!!! Horns!!)
Pieter-Jan and his sax were joining the rehearsels from now on.
Later on Pieter was added to the band to play the trumpet.
Recently adding the horns to the band, meant a new start for UAO
and enabled them to follow a new way in the evolution of their music...
So now... things will change a bit...
New songs will be composed and horns will sound troughout
the streets of Deinze as they are practising to become one
of the most entertaining bands ever known by man :).
