About Me
We are one of the few local band's in Fontana,Ca. The band started in early 2002, with only four people, which was Tony-on guitar, Cesar-on bass, Luis-"che"- vocals, & luis-"mugres"- on guitar,(later in time took the position as the drummer.)We started improvising music in rehersals, like, rock in spanish. It never came through our minds that we would end up playing ska, something we all now enjoy. 2 months after, we met with an old friend, Jorge- "corko", he ended up being our new vocalist. We then desperately looked for brass players, for half a year, we met with Gorge -guitar-, and his couisin Luis- ..boards. (no longer in the band).The band soon started playing in backyard parties, something we still do now.
In the beginning we were afraid of what the reactions of the people where going to be. I mean, we were the only ska band playing at the show, all the others were "Punk" & "Metal",After 2 years we still did not have the sound we were looking towards in the band,we wanted the sound of clean brass tones. In mid. 2003, we met with a trombone player which was Art (who is no longer in the band), & on Alto sax. -Jose (who is no longer in the band either).. 2 months after, we met 2 trumpet players, -Hazel, & Felipe( no longer in the band). This past year we've added three new members which are Damion playing Ttrombone, josh on Trumpet and jovan on percussions.. Till this day there are 7 of us and the band is doing great with our new brass section. Unfortunatly, Tony left the band and cerebro negro took a year off, now that we are back we have two new member who are from La Trifulka; Moses A.K.A. Penguino on guitar and Danny A.K.A Pollo or Pisko in Keyboard. even though Tony is not in the band we will still remember him...
