CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE Can I have a Corona with that?

About Me

As Jimmy Buffet's song goes: Everybody's on the phone, so connected and all alone. Sounds like "myspace". I am 55 and semi retired, live in a condo over looking Cabo Bay and Lands End. Cabo as they say, a "sunny place for shady people". My other favorite saying is. We are a small drinking village with a serious fishing problem. I spent most of my life in Manhattan Beach, CA. I have been married twice. I moved here 2 1/2 years ago. I live year round in Cabo. I love meeting new people and seeing old friends and family when they travel down here. I owned a construction company for 33 years, that I started when I was 20. I thought that was enough. It's time to have fun. A good friend, his wife and I bought a 1/3 acre on the beach in a area called Playa Los Cerritos. I like to call our property Playa de Suenos. "Beach of Dreams". We have started construction on our property. I am doing some construction consulting, part time I hope it stays part time. I'm also doing home inspections in the area for home buyers. I have two condos down here. That are rentals. I have always loved the ocean and Mexico so this was a good move for me. I know because of my location I am not the typical man on this site, but I might appeal to some who are adventurous and want to meet someone in a different local. I am all the things woman SAY they want in a man. I'm confident, I'll keep you laughing, a man's man, Harley's and fast cars. I'm 6'2" tall and 245lbs. and can lift my weight. I'm successful, love kids, I have 4 (27,23,16 all girls and 11 year old son) and 4 grand kids. My kids come down for the summer and Christmas break. I can converse on any subject short of physics. I dress down, great for Cabo, or up for going to a resort or night club. There is a ton of things to do in Cabo. Let me show you. Got to go. It's time to go to the Baja Cantina. The local gringo's watering hole.

My Interests

Meeting new people, fishing, yachting, wave runners, horse back riding, swimming, the beach, camping, snorkeling, dancing, dining, live music, golfing,ATV'S. Exploring the Baja. I am getting ready to start scuba lessons.

I'd like to meet:

I seem to like women of all ages as long as they are.... adventurous and open minded, and who share many of my interests and give me a chance to experience new thing's from them. I would like to meet someone I could settle down with for the rest of my life. That would take a woman with grown kids or no kids since I plan on living in Mexico. Some women will never get me. That's cool. That's because I think we are all at a different place in life, and have different idea's on where we want to go. Women I DON'T like: high maintenance, to much baggage (kids and family are not baggage), can't let their hair down or relax, to much drama, always have to be the center of attention, especially in a group. Am I being too picky? I don't think so. Can you spend the evening at the beach, sit by a camp fire and enjoy a great wine and a amazing sunset? Tear up on the dance floor with all the other crazies that love the Cabo Wabo. Can you jump on a plane with out having planed it 12 months in advance? That's what makes life fun and exciting, being a little spontaneous. I always take the time to return emails from friends. Hope you do the same. I'm not trying to fill my friends page like a lot do. If I make you a friend or ask you to be a friend it is because I took the time to learn a little about you from your site, blurbs, profile and pictures. I would like to have you as a friend and maybe if we ever have a chance to meet, have a great time together. Maybe over margaritas in Sunny Cabo. Besides, Cabo is not such a bad place for a first date. JC
