The mix features new material from JO-S and Audio Angel, as well as recent material from other well-noted Drum and Bass artists from around the globe. After a brief hiatus from production, JO-S comes with a collaboration featuring the respected West Coast Drum and Bass diva Audio Angel. "Forever" takes a razor sharp turn from the typical JO-S sound and is well worth the wait. This disarmingly sweet dancefloor killer starts with a pallette of harmonically rich tones and sweeping pads. Filtered breaks build while delayed vocal snippets slowly infect the intro. Audio Angels passionate verse extends through the drop showcasing her stamina as a vocalist, leading into a rollout of gnarly subs.
Nightwalker has been busy on the production curcuit as of late, with releases on True Playaz, Timeless, and Grid. Personally selected by JO-S for the remix, Nightwalker delivers a scorching treatment of the original, proving to be one of his most anticipated releases to date. Garnering the attention from the likes of DJ Hype, this epic re-arrangement allows the vocals to have center stage. The anticipation builds for a truly massive drop. A bombardment of grimey, pitch-shifted bass stabs soon follow characterizing the signature Nightwalker sound and rounding this one off as a solid 12.
DJ JO-S - Official Bio
Joseph Esposito, known to those as JO-S, has been making an impact in the Drum and Bass industry for over ten years. Originally from New York, this Los Angeles based Artist has put forth a positive effort to contribute on many levels.
As a DJ, JO-S has performed in almost every major city throughout the US, showcasing his originally produced material through a hi-energy mixing style. His signature stage presence reveals his tenure in the business. Dedicated to crowd interaction, JO-S brings a winning performance to the decks at any event he performs at no matter what the capacity.
As a Producer, his music has appeared on respected labels such as Caffeine, GFS, F-111 / Higher Education, Rawkuts and Taciturn. One of his first, and most well respected releases entitled, "Turbo" earned him a remix by The Usual Suspects (Renegade Hardware / UK) on the F-111 / Higher Education imprint. His productions have also played an integral part in the development of New York based label Rawkuts Records, a division of the hip-hop label Rawkus. His first single on Rawkuts entitled, Separation has received third-party licensing exposure from the likes of Canadian based DJ Freaky Flow for the mix album entitled, World Domination on Moonshine Records. In 2002, JO-S released his debut artist mix album entitled, Firing Pin. The track selection is a definitive look into the production history of JO-S as it contains 13 original productions.
With a BA in Visual Communications, JO-S continues to push the envelope in the area of Graphic Design. His visual aesthetics rival the quality of his musical counterpart. JO-S is actively working as a professional Art Director for a creative agency in Los Angeles where he designs DVD packaging and related marketing collateral for clients such as Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers and HBO. He has also designed 12 sleeves for Alpha Magic Distribution (UK); host to such famed labels as Outbreak, Gain, G2 and Predator.

JO-S teams up with vocalist Audio Angel (Influx UK) to deliver a sweet, slick and ruff stateside banger. JO-S has definitely stepped up his production evident by his warm solid bass, crisp breaks and beautiful pads all culminating in a superb sound. Nightwalker re-works the tune with pitch-shifting b-lines, smacking 808s and his signature stepping drum patterns. Soul with a techie touch!
