About Me

Born on February 28th 1983, born "Saki XL" was delivered with the God-gift of musical talent. At an early age of eight, the military-raised Carolina native received his first keyboard, a Casio CT-390. He went on to write and compose his first song "Death and Sorrow", without any guidance or counsel. This was a rendition of his thoughts and feelings of the then prevalent, Operation Desert Storm, in which his step-father served. Saki moved on to writing songs in a similar fashion until his teenage years, consistently learning the keyboard only by ear. He whimsically mimicked every melody he heard from "Super Mario Brothers" to the "Simpsons Theme", graduating quickly to "Fur Elise" and "Moonlight Sonata" by the age of 13.At the age of 16, Saki received a Roland XP-60 keyboard, and began composing on a new platform, while learning to produce more interesting music such as Hip Hop, R&B, Dance, and playing for a few Alternative Rock acts within the city. The young talent was warmly welcomed, and for months on end spent his time frequenting coffee houses around Fayetteville, testing new instrumentals, and various playing styles to. In August of the same year, Saki teamed up with a group of individuals known to his high-school as "The Untouchables", and exemplified superior talents in an October talent show.Saki proceeded to work with local acts over the next 3 years, ranging from local Alternative to Hip Hop and R&B talents to testing the waters on commercials at the local radio station. Local acts began seeking out the producer's work after the completion of Bonds Valentino's "My Life" and NATO's self-named albums, in return garnering profitable restitute. Artists in the local area included "Q4 and Trife City Records" (now referred to as Wheatstraw and Woodboy Entertainment, respectfully), Big Floyd, Franswa (Fran D') of Total Package, Hunga of Regardless Records, TKO and Syndrome of "NATO", La Femme Fatale, and Joe Dirty of E.D.C. Records, to name a few. The world-wide-web held more opportunities, as Saki joined MP3.com in late 2000, where he resided until shortly after graduating high school. Saki virtually lived in the top 10 charts, and consistently was the number 1 producer from the Carolina states. Unfortunately, MP3.com was turned over to a new company who no longer sought to give such attention to young and budding artists, thus setting its demise in late 2001, early 2002. With the turn of events, and the loss of royalties and steady income from track sales, Saki had no other choice but to seek other employment. After getting married in August 2002, Saki decided to join the military to not only broaden his connections with people outside of his city, but to break away from the same routines, develop himself mentally and musically, and establish a place within the music industry full-time once his service commitment ended. Over the course of the next four years, Saki purchased an E-mu Mo Phatt Rack and Fantom X6 to better shape and develop his sound. In June of 2004, he worked closely with an alternative writer/singer/composer, Dale "Debius" Bierman, and formed the blueprints of what would be an ultimate production umbrella, encompassing every style of music. "Instrumentally Sick Evolution" (known as ISE Productions), was developed and Saki recruited his first co-producer, D'Avilo "Trauma" Sanders, a heavy hitting Chicago based composer. I.S.E. continued to grow, over the course of two years with Indiana producer, "J-Swade" joining in late 2004, and additional production consisting of Carolina's "24-7", and "GetitCuz" in 2005, and "NK tha Great" in 2006.With I.S.E. Productions established, a team of heavily versatile producers, and plenty of connections between them, Saki met with underground budding Chi-town born artist, "Daytona 5 Bill". Both seeking positions within the industry as producer and artist combination power hitters, Saki and Daytona set to work on the long awaited "Product of American Pop Culture", featuring everything from dancehall-inspired beats to hard-hitting street burners. With a plan set in motion, Daytona and Saki now prepare to launch I.S.E. Productions into the future.
