About Me

You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !Bio:Acubis & The Bus started in 2001 when both members reunited in Beirut, Lebanon, and started experimenting with music. With no past experience in recording or producing, Acubis & The Bus produced a full demo album at a home studio which was soon dubbed as "Air Bus Records". The songs posted on this page are some of the home recordings they have put together. This is what impressed listeners the most, and through word of mouth they started getting recognition. Soon enough 2 tracks made their way to the radio in both Lebanon and Kuwait. This allowed them to start understanding the seriousness of what they were doing, and helped them realize that they had to start orchestrating a masterpiece of an album. The albums main focus will be to bridge two cultures by merging two different types of music, Middle Eastern music (in its various forms) along with Hip Hop.We would like to thank everyone that supported Acubis & The Bus from day one and as we have promised the best is yet to come. We'd also like to thank all the support we are receiving from all the Hip Hop fans online worldwide, we hope one day we can live up to your expectations.Acubis & The Bus would also like to send special thanks to fase © for hookin our myspace up for us. Without his support, we wouldn't have been able to reach you.

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Acubis (emcee), Bus (emcee/producer)
Influences: The Bus: "You can say that i've been inluenced by anything i've heard in my lifetime. Anything from classical music, to what we call the classics which include the arab legends. i'm the guy that cannot name a song, or tell you who sings it, but i know how the music goes. When i talk about hip hop influences, many people come to mind. 80's pioneers, up until now. and r&b artists and groups are in the list as well. but when you ask me who i look up to, i'd have to say Timbaland."

Acubis: My top 6 mcs: Busta, Canibus, Immortal Technique, Nas, Mos Def, and Biggie. Favorite Albums: Immortal Technique = Revolutionary vol.2, Mos Def = Black on Both Sides, Flipmode Squad = The Imperial, Every Biggie and Busta album, Nas = Stillmatic, Pharaoh Monch = Internal Affairs, Afu Ra = Body of the Life Force
Sounds Like: an ill combination like nothing you've ever heard.
Record Label: unsigned
Type of Label: None
