A little about Me
I was Born in Las Vegas. Played the ping-pong ball for many years. Got into trouble as a child. Gangs where my only family that really stood beside me. I watched my best friend die in my arms at 16. That was my defining moment into getting it together. I then went to Job Corps and became an EMT. Then went to Elko and wound up Joining the fire crew. That was the job that really instilled in me that people depend on you. My fire crew boss got stung by a bee (he was VERY allergic. I was the only EMT on our crew. Ex-Charger Linebacker... Anyway 5 people down a burning mountain. It was sink or swim. I SWAM.. BEST JOB I EVER HAD. All my work at becoming a man was done by ME. I am proud to be the man I am today.
I moved to Oklahoma with my wife in 95.We have 6 kids. 4 boys(one lives with his mom), and two girls. Marsha is a DAMN good woman. She stands beside me in everything I do. She patches me up when I crash. Or tells me I can do it when I doubt myself. She's my rock. We've been together since early 95. We met in 89.
I got to know my dad again as an adult. It rocks. We have a great relationship. I love that he's there at all the time. He calls everyday. My boys can ride their bikes to his house from mine. I never thought I'd have a real family life after my childhood shinannigan's ("I swear I'll pistol whip the next person who says Shinannigan's)SORRY,couldn't help the Super Troopers Drop..My dad is very proud of the person I am. My wife and children love me. They (and my doggies) are my life. ALL I am and ALL I do is for them.
I woke up in the country after knocking myself out cold learning a superman seat grab,and asking my self why I really still do this. It's for my kids future. Knowing that they have the chance to chase their dreams. I am actually gonna be there for my kids to help them when they need me. I love to watch them grow and become their own people. I owe SO much to my wife for helping me break through the walls created by my past. She's a damn good woman. AND SHE'S MINE! HA
My Mom lives in Vegas with one of my two sisters. My mom has Emphysema. We have our issues to work through. But, I hope she's doing fine and love her anyway. Smoking cigarettes for so many years did a number. I just wish they knew as much then as we know now. I used to smoke, but after my wifes mom died of cancer it was enough. I couldn't look at my kids and light it. 7 years now and never looking back.
My sister Brina (in Vegas) has a baby boy. She's married. My Sister Missy has a degree in Geology. She's married to a fireman. Way to go sis. I haven't met him yet, but he's got one good foot in with me so far.
I now ride bikes and sell clothes. My riding and Clothing line keep me busy when the kids and the dogs don't. We are, as of 04/17/2007 - INTERNATIONAL BABY! My clothing line is in Europe now. Skies the limit. I ride ALL forms of BMX, and ride urban and Downhill on MTB. As a child I wanted to get paid to ride. Now I DO! If you want it, Don't EVER let anyone tell you that you can't have it. I am living proof that you can make it. ANY dream is attainable with DRIVE.
