My reasons are beyond you. Do not ask me them. They are none of your business. I will tell you them without objection if I want you to know. No, I am not scorned or bitter . Do not preach to me about the mysteries and essense of love. It will be falling on deaf ears. Come to me with facts and advice, not assumptions and false pretenses. I am not looking for enlightenment or another half. I do not need anyone else at this precise moment. I am not giving up. I am just trying to figure things out by myself. Someone else involved will cause obstruction rather than aide. I need rationality and black and white in my life right now. Unless you can offer me all these things, do not bother. I am most definitely not arm candy and I am finished acting like a child. I have not become a born again Christian. I am just safe . I always have been, always will be.

I enjoy these topics of discussion, but do not try and convert me. It offends me that you insult my intelligence in this way. If when I studied your faith I decided that it was the right path for me I would be a parishioner of your Church, temple, place of worship, forest gathering, circle, etc. without any objections. I will figure out my life plan and what I want my higher power to be on my own. I appreciate every single effort to "save" my soul. I truly do. Do not take this as a dismissal or acceptance. I am honestly doing neither. I will not dismiss you while you are speaking to me, but know that I feel thoroughly disrespected throughout the entire conversation. I do not interrupt you while you eat, smoke a cigarette, sit on the toilet, have phone sex to impose my beliefs on you. Please have the common courtesy to do the same. I know I impose quite a problem for some. (Especially Christians whom have been taught to profess the Good News.) I just ask, please, be courteous.
I am leaving for the military shortly. Do not tell me that all soldiers deserve to die for what is going on overseas. Do not speak to me about President Bush. I was not old enough to vote in either of his elections. I am joining the military for the greater good. Stop talking about withdrawing efforts from everywhere. "We're policing the globe, man. It's so gay. My taxes shouldn't be going into this." I absolutely understand your objections. If I die serving my country in any way shape or form, I will be proud. I do not need your smiles or frowns upon the message I plan on aiding. I do not care about your opinion unless it is educated and up to date. Do not tell me you hate the people in office if you really do not know what is happening outside your very own window. Next time you say, "We should just nuke the bastards and get it over with.", "We are at war with .", "They're all the same people. Who cares?". I want you to go research Lebanon. They are in the same area. They offer support. They have had bombs dropped on their children for it. According to these statements that I have heard, they deserve it and nothing more though. They look like they could be terrorists. I suppose that causes them to deserve it. Educate yourselves like most people are denied. Withdrawing effort causes me to think about this question: If five thousand children are drowning, would you try and save one?" If you answered yes and agreed with the statements said above...You are a walking contradiction.
