I study classical voice, but I love all music. I'm an ethnomusicologist at heart. I do love to support new artists and artists within my friends and family circle. Right now the song that speaks the most to me is by Abbey Lincoln, a New York jazz singer and is titled "The Music is the Magic".
G.I. Jane is one of my absolute favorite movies these days. Some of my all-time favorites are Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, Pretty in Pink, Sleepless in Seattle, That Old Feeling, Rooster Cogburn, any movie with Katherine Hepburn, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Family Man, Girl Interupted, Gia, Victor Victoria, anything on LOGO, Bravo, Lifetime and, most recently, newly discovered extreme skiing/sports films by Warren Miller.
