Songwriting and performing, running and fitness, reading, meeting new people, travel, philosophy, cooking and eating.
My all-time fantasy dinner party would include (but not be limited to) Aristotle, Galen, Marcus Aurelius, Leonardo da Vinci, Mohammed Ali, Bill Hicks, the Dalai Lama, Leonardo DiCaprio, Centaine Courtney and Louis Theroux. Background music provided by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Freddie Mercury, after dinner entertainment by Derren Brown. Food by Nigel Slater and Nigella Lawson, and served to us on rollerskates by Amy Winehouse and Marilyn Monroe.
My Life Story, The Divine Comedy, Queen, Muse, The Smiths, The Killers, The Beach Boys, Dire Straits, The Toy Dolls, Snoop Doggy Dogg, most of Motown and, always, Fridgehopper
Children of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Sunshine, O Brother Where Art Thou?, A Life Less Ordinary, Leon, Being John Malkovitch, Zoolander, Moulin Rouge and Serenity
Not a big TV watcher. "The Trap: Whatever happened to our dream of freedom?" and "How Music Works" were amazing documentaries though. Peep Show and Roman's Empire both crack me up as do Still Game and Brass Eye
Human Traces by Sebastian Faulks is the best novel I have read. River God, and The Book of Lost Things both run it close.
My one super power would be native fluency in every language.
