About Me

I am a leaf on the wind... watch how I soar...This is who I amNote: I just moved across the country, so half of this information is probably outdated. I'll get around to adjusting it eventually.I'm about 1/2 geek, 1/4 hippie and 1/4 goth. Don't ask me how that works, I'm not even sure myself. Part of me wants to beat myself up and steal my own lunch money sometimes. Genetically I'm about the same kind of mix... 1/2 white, 1/4 jewish (I was a bit surprised when I found that out. Apparently everyone in the family knew, it was just something that never came up in conversation until a couple of months ago. Kinda puts my grandpa's WWII service in a whole new light, knowing that.) and 1/4 native american. (Although I'm not sure about that, most anyone who could answer questions as to exactly how much and what tribe are... well, dead. I could be as little as 1/8th). That's me, a purebred mutt. I have long hair, and no, it doesn't matter how hot you are or how good you can give blowjobs. I'm not cutting it for you, sorry. As far as religion goes, I'm loosely pagan, but I'm not all that big into religion in general. So as long as you're not trying to shove your religion down my throat, I'm cool with whatever you have. Unless it involves sacrificing babies, 'cause that's just weird, man. And illegal in most states. I consider myself to be 'mostly' straight, I.E., I don't really care about gender, but 95% of the people I find attractive are women. And I like boobies. They're very comfortable to cuddle on. And good for other things too, but I'll stop before this becomes no longer PG. :) As I said before, I like the goth, geek and little bits of hippie culture. I sing and play guitar, violin, lute, recorder, and various other instruments. I come from a fairly musical family, although I was the only one in this generation who went to college for it. (Which is weird, since growing up, my older brother was a better musician and I was more of a computer geek. Then he went off to be a programmer while I went to college for music.) Family is fairly important to me. Friends come and go, but family is forever. Hell, look at my friends list, I've got three family members and two people who are almost like family to me on there. So if you get to the point where I consider you family, you're pretty much in for life. :) Right now I'm working two and a half jobs, one purely physical warehouse job, and doing some freelance computer programming for my brother's company. The 'half' job is more of a self-supporting hobby than a job. I like to make things and sell them on the internet. My latest endevor has been leatherwork, mostly aimed at the goth crowd, although I'm doing a bit of armor type stuff as well. I've got a website if you wanna see pics of my work, but there's not much up yet. http://www.gothicleatherwork.com/ I had four animals in my apartment, down to two now. I had two cuban tree frogs (Sam and Frodo. I named them BEFORE I found out Sam was actually a girl) but they just died recently. :( I also have a leopard gecko named Frank (also named before I found out she was a girl), and a roommate named Charlie(who is the only furry animal in the house.).Oh, and I tend to ramble a bit sometimes when given free reign. Bet you'd never guess THAT from reading my profile. And I figure I might as well list some of my websites here. There's my page for the software I haven't worked on since my last computer died...

There's my old webcomic that I haven't really done anything with, well, since my last computer died. (sensing a pattern here?)

My Interests

Weird stuff. I like to make things with my hands. I'm a musician, and a writer. I like the occasional whacko conspiracy theory, mostly because I'm creative enough to improve on them. (For instance, even BEFORE MIT did their study to prove that tin foil hats actually amplify mind-rays rather than blocking them, I'd been saying that for years.) I'm also getting into leatherwork , that's my site there if you wanna check it out. I don't have much there yet.

I'd like to meet:

This is what I'm looking for I'm a bit of an oxymoron. I have a very wide variety of taste. Yet I'm very discerning. For the most part I'm interested in women, but I'm more than a bit openminded when it comes to sexuality. But for the most part I'm keeping an eye out for girls, so that's what I'm listing here. I like girls who are quirky. I find boringly normal people to be... well... boring. I need a girl with a brain. I find stupid people to be... well, stupid. :) Obviously I need a girl to be attractive enough to catch my eye, but more importantly, she needs to be interesting enough to keep my attention. I'm looking for a girl who's quirky, smart, NOT sexually or religiously repressed. I don't think that's too much to ask. (I'm not sure which is worse. Although most religiously repressed people ARE sexually repressed too, so I guess that answers that question.) I've got no problem with religious people... just the repressed ones. Mostly because the repressed ones are usually PSYCHO underneath. In fact, y'know what, just email me. I'll let you know if I'm interested. Cut through the bullshit and the games. I just want to find people who I can actually hang out with, have a conversation with. If there's chemistry, there's chemistry. If not, at least I've got one more person to hang out with and talk to. If there isn't even that... well hey, no big loss, we wouldn't have ended up hanging out and whatnot in the first place. LOCAL PEOPLE ONLY. Long distance sucks. Like a Hoover. (the vacume cleaner, not the dam, ex-president or ex-head of the FBI. Well, okay that last one kinda sucked, but that's beside the point.)BASIC NO-NOs. NO girls with no self-respect. If I just wanted to get laid I'd be at a club somewhere. While I have nothing against anything happening on the first date, I want it to happen with somebody who's right for me, not somebody who's easy. (although those who are both right for me AND easy are certainly welcome)
NO stupid people.
NO people who will try to convert me to their religion
NO overly preppy people. You know who you are.
NO fat chicks. 'cause I'd rather wait until they're full grown. MMm. Kung pao chicken.
NO emailing me and asking for a long distance relationship. Ain't happening.
NO shirt, no shoes, no problem. I'm currently shoe-less as I'm writing this, and I feel that the common discrimination against the barefoot is unfair and pointless.
NO boringly normal people. If I wanted to trade stories about drinking and getting laid, I'd hang out at clubs.
And if you couldn't tell by the time you finished this list, NO people with no sense of humor.

Music:

Rock. Classical. Classic rock. Alternative. Grunge. Recently gotten into black metal a bit.

Movies:

Anything geeky usually appeals to me, along with varous other weird random things.
Fight Club was awesome, if you don't think so, you just didn't get it. I refuse to watch Lord of the Rings: Return of the King with anyone else in the room. (Mostly because I cry like a little girl at three or four different parts throughout the movie.)
I like some Tim Burton stuff. He's usually best when he's totally himself, or when he's just a little bit himself. Anything inbetween usually sucks. (Like Batman Returns. Half Batman and half Tim Burton... and it wasn't nearly as good as the first one, which was just Batman with a Tim Burton style to it.)
I like martial arts movies, just because they're cool to watch.
There's more, but my taste runs pretty deep, so it'll take too long to write everything out.

Television:

Don't watch much... isn't anything good on most of the time anyway.

Books:

Mostly sci-fi/fantasy. Really most fiction, but mostly those.
