My first love was music. From my earliest memories, music flowed through my ears and into my soul. I grew up singing and dancing. I was a band nerd in grade school. I played the oh so glamourous clarinet. I gave up the clarinet in 7th grade to focus on the one thing I was good at and that was singing. I don't sing anymore, except to my daughter, who I hope will also have a passion for music.I love to spend time with my friends who always make me laugh 'til my sides ache. I can't imagine not having my gorgeous husband in my life. He makes me smile constantly. He came into my life and nothing has been the same since and I wouldn't have it any other way. We have two very smart, beautiful children.I am a bit of a wallflower. I'm painfully shy at times and having such outgoing friends makes for an interesting life. They keep pulling me out of my little turtle shell.I am a homebody. I love to cook and garden and bliss to me means having a home and a loving family to come home to after a hard day of work and play.

I like music that doesn't suck, depending on who you ask. Plenty of people gag like a cat coughing up a hairball when they go through my cd's. What can I say, I was too lazy to send back the selection of the month from BMG for at least a year. I can find something I like in almost any music. Even if it's a backbeat or a harmony. I am fascinated by the human urge to make the noise we call music. If it maked me tap my foot, cool! If it makes me shake my ass, even better! If it moves me and changes my life forever, well then isn't that something?

My hero is the guy who invented the Guinness can with the nitrogen thingy in the bottom. I think I might name my second born child after him, if I ever find out who he is.(Edit): After much review... I change my mind about the whole second born child thing. A friend sent me the patent info on the nitrogen widget thingy. It seems that three people are credited with the invention. Their names are Carole Jane Dodd, Robert Purdham and Vivien Jane Sargeant. Nevertheless, they are still my heroes!I have to also add the guys from Deadliest Catch. Those men are brave as hell! Every time I eat a crab leg, I think to myself that some crazy ass, crab fishermen risked their lives for my dinner.
