GOLDEN VOICE
Biography
Born and grown in Montego Bay Jamaica affectionally called GOLDEN VOICE. I got the name golden voice from school girls and artist friends. When I sing the girls use to say I have the golden voice. I started singing at a very tender age at community shows and dances. In the early 90s while attending school 3 friends and I formed the "BUSS DI PLACE CREW" , 2 deejays,( sheriff, Slicky) 1 rapper (Alcapone) and singer (Golden Voice). The group took over the western region and soon moved to Kingston where they got their big break to voice on Jon Jon's rythm. Around this time we performed at many big shows in around Jamaica like "Saddle to the EAst", GP Penitentry etc...
In 1998 the big break came to perform on dance hall night at the the annual reggae Sumfest music festival . We worked dance hall night every year up to 2002 where the group was disbanded. However I was unwilling to accept failture so I bagan to work as a solo artiste where people started seeing my true talent and promoters start booking me for shows all over JA and journalist writing about me in the papers. In 2004 I collaborated with former buss di place crew artist Slicky an CycoKid to record the single gangsta love where the video was also done.
In 2006, through self reliance I released my first album called love and "Life Style" that is now being air played. later that year I collaborated with American rapper Arsonal Da Offical to record the single Music For the world. I am now heading towards the bigger market working with BonFire Inc. and InSpire Records, recording, performing and making links.
