Happy, silly, smart, slacker, funny, ambitious, crabby, liberal, nice. Prone to chapped lips. More indie than trixie(okay, very little trixie) but I'm starting to feel all maternal toward the young hipsters when I go to shows (awww, how cute! He's expressing his individuality!). My index fingers curve toward my middle fingers. Not as severly as my moms do, and less so than her dad's did (he blamed it on baseball, but my mom and me?) I like to bake AND cook (like being both left and right brained, but more delicious).I like friendster better than this site. Fewer flashing things. I'm showing my age in strange ways. Aversion to flashing things, can't always get off the floor after yoga... gray hair in my eyebrow.

My Interests

Fiction, non-fiction, liberal politics, my pet parrot, vegetarian cookin and eatin, pilates and yoga. Spending my paycheck on fashion bargains. Biking, capitalizing erratically, wondering where all the cute Jewish indie-rocker boys live, Squishing my new niece! , Attending summer concerts in Chicago (somehow I've got tickets for three weekend-long festivals already and I'm still wearing a coat to work), Pretending to know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can tell me when to use a one-tailed T test.

Simpsons, Law and Order, Coupling, Check Please, History Detectives. Now that I don't get Fox reception, I watch Sex and the City re-runs on the WB way too often - missed many of them the first time around. Still haven't been inspired to get cable.

Years ago I kept a journal - it's supposed to be what all cultured people do - work on writing skills, note insights, happenings and turmoil... then nothing happened. Nothing worth writing...
