Pamela Seiber – Biography
Born in New Port Richey, FL in 1974, Pamela Seiber spent her formative years in the coastal town of Bradenton, Florida. In 1993 Pamela went on to study Fine Art at Sarasota Florida's Ringling School of Art and Design. While at Ringling School of Art and Design her artwork was featured in many group shows including "The Best of Ringling". Artistically Ms. Seiber's style ranges from the abstract to graphic icons. Whether Pamela is working in paint, mixed media, photography or print she continually questions mainstream society and the roll of the contemporary world. Her work deals with a variety of issues ranging from science and technology, never-ending consumption, the influence of materialism, consumerism, and advertising, to the human condition. Her artwork has exhibited in various solo, juried, and group shows; and in private collections locally and across the United States.

Detail from the instilation "EDEN" - Posted on Sun, Jul. 11, 2004"The Big One - An Exhibit on the Edge""Eden" consists of a large white free-standing wall. On its face are several small glass stands each containing a real apple. Behind each apple is the symbol for Netscape Explorer and a small photograph of the backside of a naked human. The apples are meant to decay."There is an important time element in the piece," The piece represents the decay of human individuality because of technology."The garden is gone and replaced by a vast barren wasteland,"

Television:

Lets be honest, the TV is on all the time even if it’s around for background noise. Usually the news, some-kind of documentary, with the occasional late night cartoon. Has anyone seen Kung Faux?
