..Floyd "Dean" Cochran Born June 8, 1936 in Oklahoma City, toured and played country music in Oklahoma city, Arizona and California during the 60s 70s and 80s. Floyd Dean was approuched by Capital Records in the late 60s and turned them down to tour and play with his father, Richard "Curly" Cochran who had played steel guitar for several national acts such as Bob Wills, Cowboy Copas and Merl Lindsey. Dortha Jean once told us that when Floyd Dean was younger he knew so many songs that he could sing and play for days without repeating the same song!!! Floyd Dean also played Banjo, keyboards and Drums. The above recordings were produced by performed by Floyd Dean Cochran in 2001 in his living room with nothing but his guitar and a old Kareoke amp. titled: "In the living room with Dean" he plays and performs all the parts...Dean, Cricket, Stumpfinger, Ryhthm & Lead in the style of Old School Country. These original recordings were on cassette tape and transfered to mp3 format in 2007. This site is managed and maintain by Share Sudekum and overseen by Floyd Dean Cochran.
