BIO
Tony Wilfong (aka Tony Sinister) was born March 6, 1989 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Soon after, his mother moved back to Akron, OH to be with her family. From a young age, Tony showed interest in music. His mother was more of a rocker, listening to bands such as Metallica, Megadeath, Queensryche, etc. His father was into all types of music, especially hip-hop. His father would play him tapes of all of the greats in the world of hip-hop, from Run-DMC, LL Cool J, the Fat Boys, to Ganxsta NIP, N.W.A. and the Geto Boys. Tony recalls knowing al the lyrics to Run-DMC's hit "King of Rock" and Eazy-E's "Boyz In Tha Hood" at a very young age.Years later, Tony developed a habit of punching walls whenever he would get angry. A friend told him he should try and take out his anger in healthier ways, such as writing. So Tony wrote down thoughts in the form of raps. After a year or two of this, Tony finally decided to try recording his lyrics. He started out with cheap computer mics, and met other rappers online who were interested in the same things. Tony met a guy named Chris Pugh (aka Spilla) in a chat room, and they immediately clicked. At this point, Tony had decided to create his own record label, Closed Kasket Records. After a copyright infringement lawsuit was threatened, the label was forced to change their name to Blood Rain Entertainment. Tony signed Spilla and a few other friends who experimented, but didn't stay long. He later caught the attention of local producer, Erik Lute aka E-Rock. Tony went on to record many songs with Erik, including his first EP, "The Ace."
Tony later went on to meet Ecc0 (aka Deep Pocketz aka Define), who ran a record label named Rottin Musick. Ecc0 heard Tony's track "Eastside Slaughterhouse" and immediately asked him if he'd like to become a part of the label. Tony agreed and thus started a partnership. While with Rottin Musick, Tony released the "Fuck Quality Mixtape." Shortly after, Tony left Rottin Musick, due to business issues. In coming months, Tony released another album titled "Premonitions of Death: The Third Chapter."
The next step involved a partnership with old friend, Chris Corbin (aka Chris Crucifixion aka Yung Bonez). Tony and Bonez created a group named Eternal Assassins, and recorded many songs. Though they were friends for a few years, they eventually fell out and the group was dropped. During this time, Tony was also working with local producer/rapper Ghost aka DJ Phree. DJ Phree made some beats for Tony and recorded songs with the Eternal Assassins.
At this time, Tony decided to build Blood Rain Entertainment's roster up. So he recruited childhood friend, Fro$ty, Markosik and P Swap.
About a year later, Tony was offered a distribution deal through Smokebox Entertainment. He immediately took the offer and started working on his album, which was to be titled "Stronger". During this time, he released his now annual Halloween album "Season of the Murderous 2" with B.R.E. newcomer, Young Sin. This time also saw the joining of another new member, Chris Armstrong (aka CJ Smallz). Tony also had another group project called Crime Spree around this time, but it failed. Eventually, Blood Rain saw the departure of Young Sin and Fro$ty, but gained the addition of NYC rapper, Body Bagz, and local Canton, OH rapper, Danny Sadistic. After a long and thoughtful process, Tony finished Stronger and decided to rename it "Sinister, Inc."
Then, due to a falling out with DJ Phree/Young Sin, Tony was unable to use any of the songs he previously had recorded for "Sinister, Inc.", since DJ Phree made the beats. So it was back to the drawing board for Tony. Tony put the message out there that he needed beats and fast. He was then contacted by local producer, Sameran, who offered to do most of the producing on the new version of "Sinister, Inc.", as well as mixing and mastering. Tony accepted, and work began right away. Tony also asked Sameran to become a member of B.R.E., as both a producer and an MC, to which Sameran accepted. The new version of "Sinister, Inc." should be finished within a month.
Also, at this time, Tony seeked to resurrect his old group, Eternal Assassins, with a new member, CJ Smallz. They are currently working on a new mixtape and album.
We are now on the eve of the release of "Sinister Inc." It will be dropping this summer/fall and the world will learn the names Tony Sinister and Blood Rain Entertainment.
