About Me

well hey, i'm a photographer in the hartford, ct area. i work mostly for artists and arts organisations preferring to avoid weddings and corporate clients. i've had work in local galleries and some of my work is in the collection of the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. not only that but I work part time at the museum as an art handler which is a super cool job if you like art as i can go look at anything in the collection anytime i want, its such a level of access most people never get to have... plus i can't wait for the day they hang (probably never) my work in the museum and i get hired to do it, too cool...i've got a wide range of interests and while some of my friends complain that i'm not gay enough i do love being gay and wouldn't change it if i could, although there are some other things in my life i'd change if i could...if you look any further here you'll see that i like cars alot (especially racing them) and really anything that gets the adrenaline going, its really my biggest vice, well maybe not...i also love to go out to clubs and dance around like the big fool that i am, especially at the webster underground in hartford at their once a month party called shag frenzy and recently to mirabar in providence and my all time favorite was man ray in cambridge mass. which has tragically been torn down in the name of progress, aaarghhh how could they do THAT!ok there is so much more but really, who needs to hear all of it right now?

My Interests

photography, contemporary art, dancing around, you, race cars, mountain bikes, sunny days and rainy days, things like that

I'd like to meet:

hmm, i'd like to meet guys who are interesting and have fun personalities and good style, whatever that is (i know it when i see it) fun hair and a litlle bit of craziness inside them. guys who like the arts, who aren't afraid to dance around and be themselves, guys who can appreciate everyday or at least most days for what they are, oh and guys who like race cars, or at least don't hate them too much, there aren't too many famous people i'd like to meet, maybe... sebastian loeb, marcus gronholm, carlos sainz (amazing wrc drivers) there is more but then i'd have to keep typing and this section bores me now...

Music:

oh my how much do i love I-tunes and internet radio? what does it matter what i have on the cd rack when i can listen to anything anytime? ok so maybe you can tell i finally have a high speed internet connection and yes it is glorious! but i like most kinds of music leaning more heavily to the current indi/college rock genre and british new wave of the late 80's (it is not and never will be retro!!!!) i guess its hard to get away from the music you listened to during my gay formative years as it were...

Movies:

freeway (props to reese!) in the mood for love (does film ever get more beautiful than this?) cannonball run (i am so lame) after life (such a nice way to look at it) torch song trilogy (if you're gay and you don't know it, rent it!) and sooooo many more..... any early john waters movies!

Television:

hmm i only get channel 3 cbs so i guess CSI, they claim that csi: miami is the most watched show on tv, is it? but i think the guy with the red hair stands around looking just a little too concerned all the time
