About Me

I am not happy with a two party system. I have chosen my votes based on what I think is best for the country in the long run. I chose who I believe will do the least damage and maybe will pull the country back to where it should be.--------------------------------------------------------- ---- We the people have the power and we the people are now chosing to give away our freedoms. We are giving away our ability to chose how we live, to make our own decision to a government who should never be involved in our private lives. The basic job of government is to provide security for us to live a relatively safe life in a capitalistic society, to smooth out the ecomomy when it's ineffiecient, to build our infrastructure for continued growth and opportunity. We as citizens are to do the rest, make your own living, provide for ourselfs, go out and succeed or fail but to do so because we can without government intervention. First, Government is not a well oiled machine and it does few things well, I can accept this! So why should we keep giving it more things to run and screw up? Second, our ancestors fought for independence because they wanted the freedom to live their lives without government intrusions and taxation without representation, yet we accept it daily. Why? ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------Lik e many people I don't looking forward to the election process, which has long since begun. The majority of the candidates have announced their candidacies and are already out there fighting to be the next President. Of course there’s always the two sides, both acting like they are good vs evil, when they are equally good and evil. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------ There’s a lot of choices out there, go out and read about the candidates, balance their views with yours and who will help move this country towards what you think America should or can be.

My Interests

Here are a few of my likes... The LAKERS (yes the Kings suck!) The RAIDERS, they will get better and the fans are great and are entertaining! I love food, but only the good stuff..quality sushi, good mexican food, good wine (Go to V.Sattui Winery in ST Helena!) and cooking myself, just creating things with what I have in the fridge. A good beer is a must have: I can drink NEW CASTLE anytime and PACIFICO'S for those lazy warm days.

I'd like to meet:

Ronald Reagan, I don't care what anyone says the man was great. He was there when the country needed him most and even with all his faults he was greater than most Americans could ever aspire to. I'll have to wait to see if there's an after life to see him and if (big if!) there's is one I'll probably be somewhere hot and still can't meet him and other than Reagan, not many people I would consider worth meeting .....................................................Tim Armstrong Feat. Music:

I'm eclectic.....I listen to everything. Punk, Ska are at the top of all my pay lists. My favorite bands are Rancid & Blink 182 (RIP!). +44 and Angels both rock and would make a super band (44 Angels?). MCR and Blue October are great for the dark side of everyone's personality. My Must Haves: The Cure, The Smiths, Rancid, Blink 182, Ramones, Physchedelic Furs, Snow Patrol, Cake, Weezer, Blood Hound Gang.....will post more when I get time.Tim Armstrong Rocks!!!!!!!

Movies:

Jet Li is the best, if he's in a movie I'll watch it!!! Stephen Chow is the next big start out of the East! You need to watch "KUNG FU HUSTLE" it is one of the best foreign comedy/action movies ever made, definitely a must see. My top series: The TERMINATOR series, Star Wars (origional 3!), Indiana Jones, Rocky, and the first 2 Leathal Weapons. If you haven't seen the TV series "FIREFLY" go out rent it or buy it, then watch the movie, "SERENITY". Takes a coupls of episodes but is very funny and it's action, scifi and western all in one! "SHAWN OF THE DEAD" and "LAYER CAKE" are must see movies, especially if you like "LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS" or "BOONDOCK SAINTS". ..................................Okay, I grew up w/Transformers and had to watch the movie and it was great, much better than I expected and worth seeing!

Television:

Okay my DVR is my best friend! What's on tv worth watching.....HEROES, LOST, GREY'S ANATOMY, ENTOURAGE, THE SHIELD, RESCUE ME, THE 4400, SCRUBS, PSYCH. Everyone must see SOUTH PARK, it's the best commentary on today's society. .....Also who isn't addicted to THE GIRLS NEXT DOOR??

Books:

Alright, I'm staring to read a new series of books by Gary Jennings, on the advice of a man I met. I will be reading a his series of books starting with "AZTEC" and AZTEC BLOOD....Also I am still reading Clive Cussler. He wrote Saharah, and the movie didn't do it justice....while you're out looking for the book start reading the entire series they're great stories, lots of information and fun and thrilling at the same time. He mixes adventure with great historical tidbits.

Heroes:

The very few honest people among us who tell the truth, take personal responsibility for their actions and will put you in your place when needed! People who go out there and take risks, put themselves out there for the world to ridicule and not give a damn what anyone thinks.
