About Me

Walking in the path of destiny, Minister Anika Wilson-Brown comes from a legacy of four generations of Pastors and Preachers and Prophets. She is the eldest daughter of Pastors Willie F. and Mary Wilson of Union Temple Baptist Church in Washington DC. After living years in the shadows of low self esteem and intimidation, God has released this mighty warrior for the Kingdom of God. A powerful woman of God, her ministry is bold and enlightening and serves to inspire, encourage and uplift people of all ages and backgrounds. Her delivery can be categorized as fearless and contemporary. Her personal mission is to invade satan’s camp and take back everything that has been stolen from the people of God. Witnessing this cutting edge ministry is a life changing experience. At a young age, Minister Anika Wilson-Brown, had a intense longing to be used by God. By the age of 13, her wisdom and gift for reaching young people led her to become a peer counselor and mentor to many who were older than her. Though young and very shy, she became a youth leader in her parents church. Over the years, the Lord has blessed her to blossom in ministry: Deaconess, Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator, Praise and Worship Leader, Choir Director, Youth/Teens Bible Study Teacher, and Youth Counselor. Now, He is now blessing her to spread His word evangelistically. Minister Anika Wilson-Brown became licensed to minister in March 2003 under the leadership of Pastors Willie F. and Mary Wilson. In May 2004, she graduated with a Masters of Social Work degree from Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. She is also a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia (Class of 1997). Minister Anika Wilson-Brown is married to John L. Brown Jr. of Washington DC and is the mother of three: eight year old Jendayi Anika and two year old twins, Nyela Shani and Naaji Amir. She remains a member of Union Temple Baptist Church located in Washington, DC, where she ministers faithfully each week. She is the Director of the Aya Program, a non-profit organization that provides counseling and case management services to families that are on welfare rosters in Washington DC.
