Memoir started to take form in 2006 as Johanna, Dan and Richard played in the same memorial consert for their deceased music/art teacher. Patrik was a mather of fact the gigs sound engineer!
After the gig Johanna and Dan talked about starting something and they decided to give Richard a call. The "band", whom endured only vocals drums and guitar, started to write some songs and some hits where made.
After a while someone in the "band", wich didn´t have a name yet, came up with the brilliant idea of calling a bass player! Here Patrik came in the picture and he soon joined the gang.
After some more hitmaking the band needed a name. Bandnames such as Guldgrävarna,Deg and Los Intergalaktigos came up but none of these names seemed to please the members. And suddenly Johanna popped it! Memoir!
