"GRANT ME THE STRENGTH OF THE EAGLE'S WINGS,
THE FAITH AND COURAGE TO FLY TO NEW HEIGHTS,
AND THE WISDOM TO RELY ON SPIRIT!!"
Spiritual growth is defined by the willingness
to accept full responsibility for
who, what and where you are at in life;
no longer blaming others or circumstances."
How can I best serve humanity?
By being a healer, a teacher, a friend, a lover and a mother. I can serve by leading by example, by being genuine and authentic. By being prepared to expose myself, to break down the persona, to peel back the layers and living the real truth of who I am. By walking through this world with a quiet mind and open heart.
To live in the now, to face my perceived fears, to feel compassion, to see the Divine in all of life.
To see the Divine in all of humanity - no matter what the color, race, sexuality, creed, age, or walk of life they may come from.
To look into the eyes of another human being, and look into the depths of their soul, to see the Divine with in.
To talk with passion and not just speak, to listen without judgment and not just hear, to look with the eyes of wonderment and not just see.
To live from a place of truth, respect, forgiveness, acceptance, freedom, harmony, spiritual connection and love.
Sometimes it takes us the better part of a lifetime to discover our life’s work, even though we may have been doing it our whole lives without necessarily realizing it. Our life’s work is not always what we do to make money, although we often think it should be, and sometimes this way of thinking prevents us from seeing clearly what it is. The way we know our life’s work is by how we feel when we are doing it.
When we are doing our life’s work, we feel an uncanny sense of ease and alignment. This doesn’t mean that the work is always easy, and it doesn’t mean that it’s the only work we have to do; it just means that there is a conviction deep inside us that tells us we are in tune with our innermost self. When we are engaged in our life’s work, our bodies feel more alive, because our energy is devoted to a cause that, in turn, feeds us. We may be tired after engaging in our life’s work, but we are almost never depleted. We feel grounded in the world, knowing that we belong here and have something important to offer.
My spiritual faculties of faith and imagination give me the ability to look beyond appearances and see into the realm of unlimited possibility. Whatever the human limitation seems to be, I know that with the Creator, there is no restriction of potential.
Whenever I am aware of a need for healing, I am also aware that wholeness is within me, the other person, and in the midst of the situation. Wherever lack seems to be persistent and ingrained, I know that there is an abundance of the Creator that can be tapped into.
With spiritual vision, I recognize my life's work and claim my good. Harmony, peace, goodwill, serenity, well-being, wisdom, understanding—there is no limit because my Creator is the source of unlimited good.
Long ago, I stopped focusing on the unexplained; I've come to terms with who and what I am, and make no excuses. My gifts just are; I am grateful and my purpose is clearer ...
I welcome Spirit into my heart, mind, body and soul! I ask always to be guided down my path and given the courage to pursue what is available to me. I open my heart to the healing wholeness of nature. I am thankful for the lessons and grateful for my struggles; and I will never forget what has brought me to where I am today!!!

Dearest Ancestors:
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone.
The names and dates are chisled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care,
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist.
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you,
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse,
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled,
So many years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left,
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved.
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
To praise and honor you.
