Sitting aimlessly at their desks, watching yet another summer morning stroll past their window, Evan suddenly leaped out of his chair with newly found delight shouting, Skee-Ball! Lets play Skee-Ball! Eric, moved by Evan's declaration, pumped his fist in agreement and just like that, they were off to Coney Island.Upon arrival, they quickly chose their respective lucky Skee-Ball machine, exchanged a gratifying high-five and began to play. About 20 games later, Eric jokingly challenged Evan to a best-of-seven Skee-Ball Showdown, as he then called it. Evan seriously accepted. After six competitive nail-biting games, it was Evan who took the final and decisive seventh game with a classic fifty stroke securing victory on his ninth ball. Eric gentlemanly congratulated Evan on his big win and they decided that it was time to make their way back to the office. While riding home on the F train, Eric and Evan enthusiastically discussed the joys of their Skee-Ball Showdown, analyzing each game, reenacting crucial shots, missed opportunities and how to perfect the concept. By the time they got back to the office, they had created a blueprint for what would become the first ever competitive Skee-Ball league.Knowing that not everyone could make the lengthy journey to Coney Island they took it upon themselves to bring Skee-Ball machines to Manhattan, and where better to put them than the comforts of a great New York City bar?It was not long after that, this marriage of Skee-Ball and bar lead to what is now known as BREWSKEE-BALL.Since expanding to Charlotte and Wilmington, NC more than 300 teams have competed for The BREWSKEE MUG, while drinking beers, sinking balls and letting the good times roll. As more original games are created and Brewskee-Ball continues to expand, so too will the spirit, laughter and enthusiasm of new competitive Skee-Ball players.Live Skee Or Die!
