About Me

My work these days consists mostly of songs words poems to pierce reach and inspire - in which i've become most effective to inspire life and live it. In the words of woody guthrie, "my songs are as pretty as the paint on your tractor, the oil on your wheel." I've given up on living an american dream, and found life for the first time. I won't have a steady paying job, a retirement, a home. My home is not four walls, but wherever Jesus is; with the outcast church in Japan, with my brothers who struggle for survival and discipleship in the congo, uganda, sudan, in the faces of dozens of disabled orphan children adopted by one couple living in ensenada mexico, with the lone prophet speaking thruths that fall into the dead air, unseen and unheard to the deaf ears of a sleeping western church, in the tears of a weeping hispanic mother who hasn't held her children for seven years because of border laws, but works hard hours to raise oppurtunity for the future of her beloved daughters. Most important truths are not found in the laughter of comfort, but the trials of suffering, disaster, pain, and the beauty of life which springs from strife. I cannot let the voices of these amazing lives just become echoes in the grass, but choose to let them inspire what is most effective in my life, my work, my songs, my love. It then becomes a cycle.I'm homeless now, i'm just passing through, but i'm working harder than ever with the star of david around my neck.
