I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm artsy, introspective, shy and sweet. I paint, sculpt, write poetry, sing, do spoken word...and when I take on any more hobbies, I'll let y'all know. LOL
Every artist knows there comes a point in their life (and possibly always) where you have a "real job" in addition to the artistic hussle. My artistic hussle deals with accepting commissions for portraiture, and also selling unique, original pieces of art. If you're interested in having a piece commissioned, or viewing and/or purchasing some of my work, feel free to message me here or visit My Website . I also do websites for reasonable rates.
I Am 35% Left Brained, 65% Right Brained
Here's an explanation of the characteristics each brain hemisphere controls:
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their own unique way.If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports. Are You Right or Left Brained?

My Interests

With me, its mostly about poetry, music and art.

I'd like to meet:

As long as your cool, laid back, and down to earth, I wanna get to know ya, so don't be scared to hit me up. Yet, I must say, if you're one of those individuals who adds friends JUST to add bulk your friends list, then please pass my page right on by.

And I have to put this out there: the friends list - I decided to cloak it for now, because I don't like the idea of ranking friends. However, I will probably decide to put it back on my page in the future, because I truly appreciate all in my circle and feel they should know it.

As far as well known people, celebs, etc. I'd like to meet or wish I could have met (in no necessary order):
DEFINITELY Jesus, Maxwell (beautiful man w/ a soul that matches and surpasses his exquisite appearance....can we PLEASE get the album?!?!?!?!?!?! The withdrawal is "realer than real"), George Clooney (I'd be the nice little wifey and take very good care of the villa in Italy), Chris Botti, Alicia Keys, Jill Scott, Boney James, Oprah, Maurice Benard (if it doesn't work out w/ Max or George, I'm sure I have a place by Sonny's side...he needs a woman who can handle "la vida"), Jamie Foxx, Aretha Franklin, Nelson Mandela, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Minnie Riperton, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Clive Davis, James Spader, Caravaggio, Artemesia Gentileschi, Miles Davis, Pablo Picasso, Eve (to ask her why in the HELL she and Adam had to mess it up for e'rybody LOL), Pablo Neruda, Aaliyah, Brian Culbertson, Eric Benét, D'Angelo, Janet Jackson, Quentin Tarantino, Faith Evans, my ancestors (since they were strong enough to endure hardship and pain due to God's unending grace and mercy, I'd like to thank them for their sacrifice and the steadfast determination which led to me being here today), King David, Solomon, Simon-Peter...

Music:

I'M A MUSIC JUNKIE!!!!!!!! I absolutely love it!!!!!! I sincerely believe its medicinal. I dig lots of different genres and styles, but my first love is probably smooth jazz...but as I said I dig lots of different genres, and that means I listen to everything from neo-soul to rock, and appreciate artists such as Maxwell, Chris Botti, Jill Scott, Dwele, LL Cool J, Maroon 5, Kem, Steve Cole, Bon Jovi, Santana, Boney James....the list could go on and on and on...

Movies:

The Matrix trilogy, To Kill a Mockingbird, Pulp Ficton, The Pelican Brief, Quills, Purple Rain, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Hustle and Flow (its hard out here for a pimp...you ain't knowin'), Crash, Four Brothers, Love Jones, Passion of the Christ, American Gangster....

Television:

I don't really watch too much TV, but when I get the urge to do so (which I have to emphasize is rare), it's CSI:, CSI: Miami, Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy and General Hospital, Nip/Tuck...and, a-hem...cartoons (uh, did I really just say that????? See, I HAD to go and expose myself LOL). In all realness, sometimes watching Looney Tunes is the best medicine in my opinion.
