I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm 24 and currently chasing a master's degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. I really have no idea what I'm going to do with it when I get done, but God is taking me somewhere.
Let me explain something to you. You've screwed your life up. You've lied, cheated, stolen, hurt the people you love, and tried to do things your own way. That's called sin. If you were to die right now without being forgiven of those things, God would judge you and find you guilty, and you would spend eternity apart from him. But there's a catch. He would rather have a relationship with you than condemn you, so he came to earth himself as a man named Jesus to be punished for the things you did wrong. If you pray to him to admit that you've messed your life up (cause you have), and that you need to be forgiven (cause you do), he'll come put himself in the driver's seat of your life and show you a better way to live. Your wrongs will be forgiven, and God himself will come live inside you. You won't be perfect, but you'll be right with God. You'll have joy and peace that you never knew existed. You'll be truly alive for the first time. Haven't you been putting it off long enough?

Paul McCartney is Irrelevant

Periodically I wonder about Paul McCartney. He’s had a pretty good run of things; he’s one of two surviving members of the Beatles, and the only one of the two who I would recognize walkin...

Christians and Preferential Treatment
