About Me

I decided that the approximately 1789 (revolution!) accounts I already have on the internet are not enough. So I created a flickr account, btw also showing the picture I use here as background image. Have a look here: MY PICTURES AT FLICKR . –––––––––––––––––––– –––––––––––––––––––– –––––––––––––––––––– –––––––––––––––––––– –––––––––––– I earn my living with writing the usual nonsense for German magazines and newspapers and I occasionally write guidebooks. The most recent guide has been a London travel guide published through teNEUES in spring 2007.The latest project was a book I wrote with German styling "pope" Bruce Darnell, you'll find here ____________________________________________________________ ________________________________A collection of supposedly funny essays by my friend Natali Michaely and myself titled "Nabelschau" (with a very kind foreword of TV all-rounder JÖRG THADEUSZ ) has been translated to Spanish, Russian, Lettish and Korean so far (but the most surprising thing is that one of my other guidebooks has been translated to Chinese, I have a couple of these books on my shelf and the publisher swore it's my name on it. Does anybody know a Chinese person?). I also write fictional stuff, and this is going to make me rich and famous one day. ;-) I also love reading books (who doesn't?), especially those by Paul Auster and his wife Siri Hustvedt. And I have a soft spot for good Scandinavian crime novels, above all the books by Håkan Nesser. ____________________________________________________________ _________________________________ If you are able to read German you might be interested in having a look at my website STELLAMAT ! ____________________________________________________________ _________________________________ In case you don't speak German, you can go there as well, you'll find some (well hidden) English translations of texts of mine within the "texte"-section! ____________________________________________________________ _________________________________ I love music,I especially dig electronic music, but you can also find me listening to other styles, it just has to touch me in some way. These are the songs I recently listened to on my computer, for obvious reasons not including the music I listen to while driving or running, which would be a little more representative these days (click on the list to get to my last.fm profile):
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM
