I am here for Friends

About Me

Lots of people fill this space with deep thoughts. Profound ideas. Philosophy. Politics.
Not me
Of course, I do not think negativly of those that do. I applaude people who actually think. There certainly isn't enough of that going on in the world today.
For ME personally though, MySpace is my escape from the real world.
When I am on MySpace, real life just happens all around me, but I don't pay attention.
I don't want to worry about NAFTA.
I don't want to worry about what color our terror alert is.
You won't find me searching for the meaning of life.
I don't want to recall which politician stands for what issues.
hemotology? urinalysis? micro...what???
It isn't because I am not intelligent. I am.
It isn't because I don't care, because I do.
It isn't that I believe these things don't matter. They really do matter.
I just need to veg out because I need some down time from stress.
SO,
What you will find me doing is looking at band's profiles. I will be worrying about what song I 'feel' like today. Should I have just one song or a player full of songs? Old songs? New songs?
I will be wondering does my profile layout fit my mood today? which picture should be my default, and most importantly: did I get any new messages or comments today?
I am not here to 'meet somebody' because I am already married.
I have been lucky enough to have found a lot of my friends from my previous life. I don't want to say old friends because I am a little more sensitive to the word 'old' lately.
I have also been lucky enough to have made some new friends that I wouldn't have known otherwise. They are good people and I am really glad to have met them.
