Chicago Violin as a band, and as a group of musicians, is seriously investing itself in advancing our art, and attempting to give every single person in the US and the world an opportunity to hear our music and see us perform.. The great news is that we have arranged for the production of a new LP (title and release date TBA), which has found us in the studio again, only this time with brand new material and in collaboration with an uber talented and knowledgeable producer (Steven LaFashia) . We're highly motivated in bringing the best possible material to the table at each epoch of our existence, and we're equally as confident in the result that the new songs will bring... Our philosophies have not changed, in that we are living for intensity, progression, and the pursuit of real music, so don't expect any huge let down or departure from the aggressive nature that is Chicago Violin... On the contrary, you should look forward to a tightening of screws, linking of minds, and overall polishing while still maintaining our rough edges and gritty, in your face style...
