wassup itz Enigma here,im really just a chilled out dude (when it comes to music atleast)i love music..thats why i have such a problem with the "music" we have blastin on the radio stations now.There are still a few good rappers..maybe about 10..but that's a crazy comparison to the hundreds of garbage rappers that are makin the most money..it makes no sense to me...around 2005 i was gettin real sick of rap and i stopped listenin to and makin it almost all together..unless Jay-Z was on a track lol...i started listenin to a lot of rock music and other genres..im really glad i had that experience..i still love rock music to death..but one day talkin to my little brother he got me to wanna come back into the game..this was around the winter of '07..then one of my best friends whom i call my brother ,Focus, had been rappin for a while and he was one of the few people i really respected..so we talked about gettin together and starting a compilation thing goin..next thing u know we started Cheqmate..it's not like an Outkast thing..we come together to make a cd together but we both do our own solo thing while still under Cheqmate and whoever else we respect and is down for it is free to join us..well thats my story so far..hopefully everything works out.thanx and listen to the lyrics people..songs aren't just the hook--------------------------------------------------------
