About Me

I believe that life is a journey, not a destinatinon. Life isn't so much where and what we end up with, but what we become and what we do in the process. When we die, all we can bring with us to the grave are memories and experiences that we've had through life. Material posessions, in the end, are worthless. It's been said that nobody makes it out of life alive, so why not enjoy the stay?

I refuse to be one of those people who go through life wishing and wanting but never doing because they let the fear of failure or rejection overcome them. Those kinds people lay on their deathbeds full of regret. They take the safe and secure, boring road through life. They are the ones who live their last days with the regret of not having done more. They die wondering how their life would have turned out if they had instead taken more risks, if they had done this or that when they had the ability to.

My little sister and Vincent Dinh--my little sister for having introduced me to him, and Vince for helping me begin the first day of the rest of my life.
Toan Nguyen - For teaching me unconditional friendship with no-strings attached. Probably the most non-judgmental guy I know.
Karla Raypon - For being so damn sweet and praising me even when I really deserved the opposite.
Karla Buitron - For opening my eyes to how much of an asshole I could be sometimes and helping me become a kinder person simply by being who she is. Awwwww!
David Stecki - This man was a true giver who sought nothing in return. He helped me to revitalize dreams that were lost in the muck of life. You may be physically gone, but your memory lives on in my heart and in the hearts of thousands of others you've impacted.
Joshua Denne - For having more faith in me than I have in myself at times.
Karim Mahmoud - For being a great friend and workout partner. Most of all, for being there to pick me back up when I have a bad day. He's the type of husband and father I want to be when I have a family.
