Ryan B, not only known as a dj, but also as a pioneer to the Chicago Night Life. A deejay for since 1994, and a promoter since 1998, Ryan B has made a permanent mark in the Chicago's Club Scene.
Starting off at the early age of 16, influenced by djs such as Bad Boy Bill, Bam Bam, Eddie B House, Ricky Garcia, Julian Perez, and Others, Ryan B bought his first set of turntables and began mixing, which would later become a empire. Ryan B started DJ'in at clubs such as Discovery, Totos, Fever, the Paladrome, and Tequillas in Downtown Chicago, before receiving his first club residency at Club Generations in Elgin.
By 1997, being a DJ was not enough, Ryan B wanted more.... He started renting out VFW Halls, and Small banquet halls, and teamed up with a Chicago Party Crew known as "USP" Ultimate Sounds Productions, but that still was not enough, so in 1998 360 Entertainment and Ryan B Productions was born. Early events included Scream a Halloween Event with Able Entertainment, then the famous Winter Bash. Only a few months after Winter Bash, Club ONE was started. Club ONE became Chicago's Hottest once a month dance clubs, open only on the First Friday of Every Month. Within 2 months the club was at capacity levels of over 1,000 people every month, with block long lines, causing regular Friday Night Dance Clubs such as The Royal to close its doors when Club ONE would be open.
2000 saw the start of a entire new concept. Ryan B, teaming up with To Kool Chris opened Club Progressive in Des Plaines, IL. With a Grand Opening of over 1,200 people, and every week with growing numbers a new concept in clubbing was born. Although the club only lasted a few months, several huge events followed. X-Mas Jam in December of 2000 in Stone Park at the current location of Energy Nite Club again with over 1,000 people, then followed by numerous Capacity events at Industry Night Club (including:: Halloween Events, Mardi Gras Parties, CD Release Events, and X-Mas Jam 2) proving that 360 Entertainment was Chicago's Premier Promotions Company.
While throwing parties and DJing across the country Ryan B stayed busy making mix compilations. With over 25,000 CD's and Cassettes sold nationwide including his most popular mix Juke Jamz, and the Energy Mix CD series, Ryan B became a regular on store shelf's.
2002 was probably the most important year in Ryan B's career. He opened now World Famous Energy Night Club on July 11th 2002. With a grand opening of 2000+ people, Energy Night Club became Chicago's hottest night spot for ages 17-30 over night. Seeing lines blocks long became a regular sight along with wall to wall people every week. Bringing in World Class DJ's and keeping the crowd aware of not just Chicago music, but music from around the world, made Energy a unique Night Club. Now in its 4th year Energy Night Club is still Chicago's Number 1 Young Adult Night Club in Midwest.
So whether it's DJ'ing in front of thousands or promoting a event to bring in thousands, Ryan B is here, for years and years to come.
