Movies:

The Lord of the Rings trilogy has to be listed as my favorite but I like tons of movies. I'll pretty much give any movie a chance.

Television:

Television is better used to watch DVDs.

Books:

George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire Saga. R.A. Salvatore has some good ones. The Icewind Dale Trilogy, The Dark Elf Trilogy, The Paths of Darkness, The Cleric Quintet, all great. Dragonlance Chronicles. Conan books. As well as graphic novels for all the above mentioned.

Heroes:

Devout clerics, noble druids, mysterious sorcerers, clever rogues, savage barbarians, courageous fighters, charming bards, genius wizards, honorable paladins, cunning rangers, and disciplined monks.
